Dhadak 2: review the Love Story of Siddhant-Triptii
Dhadak 2 finally landed in theaters on August 1, 2023 -one year after initially being scheduled, after more anticipation, and release delays than we could count. A new romantic drama, starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri, Dhadak 2 has received mostly positive early reviews from critics. This film was directed and written by Shazia Iqbal, and the film itself is a Hindi remake of the popular Tamil language film Pariyerum Perumal. In Dhadak 2, Siddhant plays Neelesh, and Triptii plays Vidhi. Following their love across the class divide, Dhadak 2 is garnering recognition for its emotional impact and performances. Dhadak 2 and Son of Sardaar 2 were released on the same date,1 august thus both films were simultaneously engaged in a box office clash.
When Will Dhadak 2 Be Available on Streaming?
While Dhadak 2 will have its continued theatrical run, fortunately for fans who prefer to stream from home, they should not have to wait too long, as once its theatrical run is complete, the film will be made available to stream on Netflix, as posted on its official poster.However, the producers have still not divulged the exact OTT release date. Bollywood films typically land on OTT platforms within 4-8 weeks of showing in cinemas. So, audiences can likely anticipate Dhadak 2 on Netflix in late August or early September.

Film Review: serious love story from the heart
Dhadak 2 is not typical Bollywood romance. Instead, it is raw, real, and grounded in the stark realities of social inequality. Shazia Iqbal does not whitewash anything. Instead she offers powerful tale of two young people trying to stay together, in a world that wants to keep them apart. Siddhant Chaturvedi gives a career best performance portraying Neelesh, a man crushed by society, but still infused with love and hope, it is as heartbreaking to witness, as is it is tender. Triptii Dimri matches him beautifully with subtlety and depth. When they share the screen, it feels moving and genuine. There are striking visuals throughout the film, but especially notice the scenes that depict the privileges of Vidhi’s world, contrasting with Neeles’s difficult and unforgiving realities.
