Dancing diva Madhuri Dixit shares the cost of being a superstar

The actress recently shared how costly the life of a superstar is. This time she was not talking about money but about being able to sacrifice a part of personal life in order to attain that level of stardom which makes people go gaga over certain people.

There are people who not only love Madhuri as a dancer but also look up to her as an actress and admire her journey. She has been an idol for several youngsters of this generation who dream of holding the same place as her in the industry. Having said that, the actress still had her share of controversies, ups and downs.

Be it her love life or massive obsession with her fans, she was always in the news. She broke millions of hearts when she left the industry and got married. But to the delight of her fans, she came back in 2007 and restarted her career with the movie Aaja Nachle.

She kept on growing and received a lot of love as she went on to judge many reality shows as dancing guru. Now she is yet again ready to conquer the space with her Netflix debut  The Fame Game where she is playing a superstar with a flawless facade.

She spoke about her character in the series in an interview with the Indian express. She said that her character as Anamika Anand is very different from herself. Anand is a big star, has a perfect family, relationship and everything. She is like a tigress for her kids and is ready to do anything for them. While talking about Anamika, she says, “Anamika didn’t want to be in this profession, she was forced to be an actress. She feels claustrophobic and at one point, even wants to do something for herself as all her life she has been doing this for others.”
