Comprehensive List of India’s 2025 National and Government Holidays
The official list of gazetted and limited holidays for 2025 has been made public by the Central Government giving information on the days when government offices will be closed across the country. When making plans for the next year individuals, business groups and public institutions use this annual announcement as a guide.
Gazetted holidays mark important national, cultural and religious events and are required for all government offices and institutions. All around the nation these are consistently seen. Restricted holidays on the other hand are voluntary and provide workers the freedom to select ones that align with their cultural significance, personal preferences or religious convictions.
