Communal Angle Seen In Harsha Hindu Murder, Three Arrested
Karnataka -Following the death of a young 26-year-old activist Harsha of the Bajrang Dal in Karnataka, the Karnataka Home Minister Araga Jnanendra has given a formal media statement that the police have finally arrested three people in relation to the same.
Apparently, five people are believed to be involved in the case. But the actual assailants are yet to be identified. Three people have already been arrested though. Also, it is being rumored that Harsha was been threatened by Jihadist separatists too. A fatwa was issued on him and posted in some Moslem Facebook groups aswell.
Minister of State KS Eshwarappa has blamed Muslim goons for the murder. At the same time, the fatwa post made by a Mangaluru Muslim in 2015 has been going viral on social media.

Additionally, Union minister Shobha Karandlaje has already demanded an NIA probe into the Bajrang Dal activist murder case in Shivamogga. The young Harsha, was allegedly stabbed to death by unknown assailants on Sunday night at the Ravi Varma Lane in Bharathi Colony. Tension in Shivamogga was high with police patrol and curfew like situation. The administration has also clamped prohibitory orders for two days and announced a holiday for schools and colleges this week looking at the religious violence brewing in the area.
Section 144 had to be imposed after his murder. Religious angle and the hijab row is also being seen as the point of instigation here. Harsha popularly known as ‘Harsha Hindu’ was a tailor from Seegehatti. Harsha had made some derogatory remarks in the social media, which could have led to his brutal murder. He was hacked to death.
