CISF Apologizes to Actress Sudha Chandran After She Raised her Airport Ordeal of Security Check
Delhi -The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) apologized to Bharatnatyam dancer and actress Sudha Chandran after she addressed the ordeal at the air terminal on social media posts.
Sudha said she is required to remove her prosthetic limb during security checks every time she travels via airlines. Many passengers like her with prosthetic limbs face pain and difficulties during the security checks as they face similar issues. She appealed to PM Modi for helping in issuing a senior citizen’s card for people.
In the video, she says, “Good evening, on an extremely personal note I would like to address to our dear Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji, and a special appeal to the Central Government, My name is Sudha Chandran, an entertainer and artist by profession, who dances with an artificial limb, made our nation proud.”

Based on her life, she has received the National Film Award in Special Jury Award for a popular Telugu film, “Mayuri”.
