Campa Cola replaces Thums Up to bag co-presenting rights for IPL

Reliance Consumer Products Limited’s Campa Cola has secured an enormous co-presenting rights for the upcoming Indian Premier League tournament – considered the second most prominent sponsorship deal, as per reports.
The deal has been fixed at Rs 200 crore. Coca Cola’s Thums Up had these rights of the same amount in IPL’s last season. Campa Cola acquiring such a large co-presenting rights strongly highlights the brand’s intent to scale up rapidly pan-India.
It has been estimated that the upcoming IPL 2025 tournament’s combined ad revenue from TV and OTT platforms is going to rise by 8-10% in comparison to last year to reach a strong Rs 4,500 crore. The matches are set to begin on March 21 and end on May 25.
The March-July summer months typically account for more than 50% of annual soft drinks sales. Reliance Consumer Products Limited reintroduced Campa Cola in 2023 to disrupt the soft drinks market dominated by Coca Cola and PepsiCo.
