According to reports of Bryan Johnson news, the founder of Blueprint or the anti-aging product firm is fed up with heading the company. Johnson revealed that he is interested in either selling or closing down the business in an interview he had to the Wired magazine recently.
The company sells various wellness products such as fancy beverages and supplements. Their longevity mix sells at about Rs 4,700, and the mushroom coffee alternative Super Shrooms sells at about Rs 3,600. Although the prices of its products are high, Johnson is even willing to abandon the business altogether.
According to Bryan Johnson, it is not coincidental that conducting business and pursuing important philosophical goals do not tally with each other. According to him, people are looking at his business dealings, and they accord him less credibility on the philosophy front. This cost-benefit bargain no longer pays off on the part of Johnson.
Bryan Johnson’s New Focus: The “Don’t Die” Religion
Most curious in the latest news about Bryan Johnson is his direction that led him to the establishment of a new religion. In March, Johnson declared through the social media platform X that he was inaugurating a religion, which he called Don’t Die. One of the spiritual movements that is centered on life and how to avoid death, because of a number of practices and beliefs.
Johnson said that he had founded Blueprint after friends asked him to get his health supplements. “It evolved in a way where I was trying to do people a solid”, he said. But the business has now expanded more than he had imagined, and this has now been coming in the way of his religious and philosophical inputs.
The business entrepreneur uses about 2 million dollars annually on his individual anti-aging care system, known as project blueprint. This involves rigorous diets, exercise activities, medical procedures, and assortment of supplements intending to turn back the clock and prolong his life span.
