The first look at Shahid Kapoor’s upcoming movie Bloody Daddy were both revealed on Wednesday night. Jio Studios recently held a highly anticipated event, dubbed “Infinite Together,” during which they unveiled an exciting slate of upcoming movies and series. Shahid Kapoor’s upcoming film “Bloody Daddy” was among the first few announcements made.
On Wednesday evening, the first look of Shahid’s action film was released. Later, the actor himself took to the center stage and provided a sneak peek into the movie. In a recent announcement, both the actor and the production house have confirmed that their upcoming film will be released exclusively on an OTT platform this June.
At the event, a sizzle reel was showcased, unveiling the title of Sara Ali Khan and Vicky Kaushal’s upcoming film as Zara Hatke Zara Bachke. In a recent event, it was revealed that Vijay Sethupathi is set to make his comeback in the Hindi film industry with an upcoming project titled Mumbaikar.
It was also stated that Kartik Aryan and Shraddha Kapoor will collaborate on a film titled Bhul Chuk Maaf. Several new titles were revealed at the event, including Amitabh Bachchan’s Section 84, Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan’s Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, Vikrant Massey and Mouni Roy’s BlackOut, Vijay Sethupathi’s Mumbaikar.
The Storyteller featuring Paresh Rawal and Adil Hussain, Dhoom Dhaam headlined by Pratik Gandhi and Yami Gautam, and Empire featuring Taapsee Pannu and Arvind Swamy, among others. Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki is one of the most highly anticipated films under the banner.
The studio has recently announced several titles for the OTT platform. Among them is Laal Batti, a political thriller directed by Prakash Jha and featuring Nana Patekar and Sanjay Kapoor.
Union: The Making of India, starring Kay Kay Menon and Ashutosh Rana, Inspector Avinash with Randeep Hooda in the lead role, Rafuchakkar starring Maniesh Paul, Bajao featuring Rapper Raftaar, The Magic of Shiri with popular TV personality Divyanka Tripathi, Doctors starring Sharad Kelkar, A Legal Affair with Barkha Singh and Angad Bedi in the lead roles, and many more.
In addition to Hindi, the production house has announced its plans to delve into titles in various regional languages such as Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, South Indian languages, and Bhojpuri.
Jyoti Deshpande, President of RIL Media and Content Business, has expressed her vision for the slate. She stated that the goal is to showcase stories that are created by and for India and Bharat.
These stories will not only entertain but also serve a purpose. The plan is to collaborate with storytellers in every Indian language and bring these stories to the forefront.
