BJP’s Shahnawaz Hussain slams TMC and rejects there allegations
On Thursday, BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain dismissed the allegations of Trinamool Congress (TMC) and state minister Firhad Hakim that the BSF is pressurizing people to vote for the BJP. We will wipe out TMC in the upcoming Assembly elections, he added.
The TMC’s credibility is lost, and because of which their party leaders are joining the BJP, Hussain added.
Recently, the Trinamool Congress in West Bengal has filed a complaint with the Election Commission of India asserting that the Border Security Force (BSF) was threatening people living in the border areas of the state, asking them to vote in favor of a specific party. While they didn’t name the BJP, it inferred that it was referring to the national party which has emerged as its primary opponent in the state.
“BSF officers are urging the village people to decide in favor of a specific political group. Locals are being informed that the state administration won’t have the option to support them and that they would be left helpless before BSF. We have taken up the issue with the ECI,” stated TMC general secretary and state education minister Partha Chatterjee.
However, BJP leader Hussain says how you can question the armed forces; TMC is alleging that BSF is forcing common people to vote for BJP. When political parties like TMC lose the confidence of people, they speak like this.
The TMC is accusing Border Security Force, whereas they guard our nation’s border and people feel safe when they are on duty. Why is TMC dragging them in politics? It is very shameful, Hussain added.
While attacking the TMC, he expressed that in the state of Bengal, corruption has been institutionalized, and the administration is politicized under the rule of Mamata Banerjee, and now people are tired of her, Hussain stated.
