Dangal film is based on real life Phogat family wrestlers including Mahavir Singh Phogat & his daughters Geeta & Babita Phogat. The characters are played by Aamir Khan, Fatima Sana Sheikh & Sanya Malhotra respectively.
Its story is also real & truly inspiring. But to make the story exciting, the character of Geeta’s coach was falsely maligned.
