Best places at DLF street food for foodies
A favourite hangout for tech professionals and residents of Hitech City and its tech belt, the street opposite of DLF, Gachibowli is a treasure trove with various food booths. If you come here any time after 9 o’clock, it will be really busy.
Hustlers are usually buzzing in this food strip with more than enough on one’s plate. Get drawn into kiosks selling foods like shawarma, french fries, rice bowls, and more along the stretch between DLF’s Gates 1 and 2. Do you want to go on a food crawl? If so, you’re set since, foodies, we have exactly what you require!
1) AM – PM Maggi Point
This kiosk opens its doors at 1 pm and stays open till 1 am. We claimed the rights to egg bhurji, chicken fried maggi, and maggi masala since Maggi aficionados were struggling to decide between fried maggi and juicy maggi (the juicy version). We received our Maggi and bhurji after a protracted wait, which we promptly devoured.

The fried chicken bits combined well with the Maggi’s crispiness, and the bhurji was flavorful and filling. Our go-to comfort food, the Maggi Masala, is something we would choose over anything else. every day. If you can put up with the crowd gathered around the kiosk, you shouldn’t pass this up.
2) Momos Delight
This kiosk truly is chock-full of surprises. For all you momo lovers, Momos Delight is wonderful with everything from Kurkure Momos to Momo Burgers. Eat their steamed chicken momos to keep things simple, or get a Moburg to start a momo frenzy (A burger with momos as stuffing). The Kurkure Momos will make you fall in love with Kurkure for good.
3) Amrutham The Food Cart
When you approach the food cart, it makes you think of a well-known Telugu TV programme, which we’re sure would make every youngster from the 1990s smile. The Paneer 65 that we ordered took about 20 minutes to arrive, but it was well worth the wait. The paneer melted in our mouths and was incredibly soft. We undoubtedly would have eaten more of the dish if we weren’t already so stuffed.
4) G.D’s
This was the kiosk that was busiest of all, to begin with. We finally made up to the counter and ordered Neptune burgers (a fiery combination of chicken, chocolate, nuts, and cheese), Jupiter burgers (grilled potato and pan-fried vegetables), and Uranus starters (Grilled Boneless Fish Fillet).
We adored our burgers, especially the strange but delicious Neptune, which every foodie must try. The Uranus was fresh, tender, and cooked well. Equinox Leg 1 kg, a special dish of smoked and grilled BBQ lamb, is also available at G.D’s. However, a day in advance order is required to enjoy this.
5) Coconut Juice Bar
lovers of tender coconuts, delight! Here is a beverage you may enjoy after a hearty dinner that doesn’t contain any added sugar or preservatives. We sampled the coconut milk juice and the coconut & kiwi mocktail. Although the mocktail was excellent, we didn’t like the juice because it was too sweet. But you might like it if you have a sweet tooth.

6) Amul
Ice cream is always a good idea, and fortunately for you, Amul has a small ice cream shop with a variety of flavors, including Shahi Anjeer, Moroccan Dry Fruit, and Kaju Draksh, in addition to the more traditional vanilla and chocolate. Although they also offer stone ice cream, Oreo, and Ferrero Rocher flavors, we advise sticking to the classics and single scoops.
7) Charcoal BBQ
The Minute Tender Loin Steaks from Charcoal BBQ, which has a small kiosk near the end of the street, are excellent and will keep you energised all night. Grilled pineapple with vanilla ice cream is a delicious way to end your dinner. Cinnamon is sprinkled on top of the pineapple, and it tastes great with ice cream.
8) Delicio Taco Truck
Give the Delicio Taco Truck a honk if you’re okay with settling for tacos that aren’t up to Taco Bell standards. Both the burritos and the chicken wings are excellent. You can select the filling of your choice (pick Peri Peri Chicken or Potato) and add INR 80 for a side of nachos. Delicio doesn’t skimp on the cheese or sour cream, so you can rest assured that all of your cravings will be satisfied.
