Apple’s Unveils Fastest Ever MacBooks And iMac In Apple Scary Fast Event
Apple’s “Scary Fast” event was a quick 30-minute show, but it packed a big punch. It was all about speed and power, which is why it was aptly named “Scary Fast.”
The highlight of the Apple Scary Fast event was the introduction of the M3 chip family. These are new computer brains made by Apple. What’s special is that they are built on a very tiny 3nm process. This means they can do more work but use less energy.
The M3 chips come in three types: M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max. They have better graphics and can handle things like realistic lighting in games, which is called ray tracing. They also have a faster Neural Engine, making them 60% speedier for tasks that need machine learning.
Moving on to the new MacBook Pro models, they come in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes and have these M3 chips inside them. These laptops are not just powerful; they also look good.
There’s a new color called Space Black. The screen is better thanks to Mini LED technology. The webcam is now 1080p, which means better video calls. The sound is also enhanced with a 6-speaker setup.
Most impressive is the battery life, which can last up to 22 hours, the longest ever for a MacBook. These laptops can have up to 128GB of RAM and 8TB of storage, which is a lot!

Apple also refreshed the 24-inch iMac with the new M3 chip. This means the iMac is now two times faster than the older model that had the M1 chip. The screen is the same beautiful 4.5K Retina display, but now you get more color options.
It has Wi-Fi 6E for faster internet and a 1080p front camera for better video calls. You can even choose to have up to 24GB of memory and 2TB of storage if you want.
