Tech giant Apple is currently working on enhancing the hardware subscription for iPhones users.
Along with this, the company also aims to provide for this service in other hardware products as well. This means that the device ownership will now be similar to paying a monthly application fee.
The ones who have expertise in the matter stress that through this service, Apple Inc is also looking to give a big push to the recurring sales, which essentially will allow users to subscribe to hardware for the very first time on Apple devices.
However, anything confirmed cannot be said in the matter as the project is still in its development phase. Hence, many of the workers who have given a hint on the idea have asked not to be identified for detailing out the project.
As per developments in the share market, Bloomberg reported a round up of 2.3% at $174.07 on Thursday. The stock, however, went down by 2 percent for the year but Apple posted a great deal of increase for eight straight days, which is its longest streak since last November.
The company is making a huge shift by adopting hardware subscriptions as it has always been known to sell devices at full cost outright. It may work on it on the basis of installments or carrier subsidies but the plan is all set for execution.
With the latest proposition, Apple will be generating more revenue so that it becomes easier for consumers to adapt and stomach spending thousands of dollars on any other new Apple device.
