Anupam Kher Transforms Into Rabindranath Tagore For His 538th Film
Actor Anupam Kher has announced that he will be portraying the role of Rabindranath Tagore, the poet and philosopher, in his 538th film.
Anupam shared his first look as Tagore on Instagram, wearing an outfit similar to what the poet used to wear, with white hair and a long beard.
Fans were quick to react, with many praising Anupam’s resemblance to Tagore and expressing their excitement for the film.
Anupam has not revealed the title or release date of the film, but he has several other projects in the pipeline, including “Metro In Dino” and “The Vaccine War.”
Rabindranath Tagore was a renowned Indian writer and the first Indian to win the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1913.
He is known for writing the national anthems of India and Bangladesh, as well as many songs known as Rabindra Sangeet.
Tagore is often referred to as “the Bard of Bengal” and is considered one of the greatest literary figures in Indian history.

Anupam Kher will be appearing in director Anurag Basu’s film Metro In Dino alongside a star-studded cast. The film is set to release on March 29, 2024.
Additionally, he will be seen in Emergency, a film directed by Kangana Ranaut about the life of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
