Also, the business noted that in 2022, requests for music through Alexa surged by almost 53% as a result of users streaming music from services like Amazon Prime Music, Spotify, JioSaavn, and Apple Music.
The number of requests to Alexa to control smart home equipment surged by 515 percent.
The company also disclosed that users are increasingly asking Alexa queries like “Alexa, how are you” (31,680 times per day) and “Alexa, I love you” (21,600 times per day), a rise of 214% and 277%, respectively.
