Bangladesh has recently been thrown into turmoil following massive street protests over a job quota system, which led to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina stepping down and fleeing the country. Diplomatic sources have confirmed that she has arrived in India en route to London.
On August 5, Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a Cabinet Committee on Security meeting to address the issue.
