The Telugu film Tegimpu follows a story of money game & heists. A team of 5-6 people makes a plan of bank heists across the city, however their real motive is secretive.
The trailer for Ajith Kumar’s next Telugu-dubbed film Tegimpu was released this evening by the film’s producers.
Tegimpu is a bank robbery comedy written and directed by H. Vinoth of Khakee (the Theeran Adhigaram Ondru dub fame).
It is made by Zee Studios and Bollywood’s Boney Kapoor. Tegimpu is being released in Telugu-speaking states by IVY Productions and Radhakrishnan Entertainment.
The film, which is mostly focused on money, follows a shadowy genius performed by Ajith Kumar.
He makes an extensive scheme and steals money from banks all around the city with the help of his core crew of four, which includes Mollywood diva Manju Warrier and former Bigg Boss Tamil 5 competitors Amir, Pavani Reddy, and Ciby Bhuvana Chandran. The rest of the narrative is based on their real purpose for these heists.
While one of Ghibran’s songs in Tegimpu discloses that Ajith uses the moniker AK in the film, neither the character posters nor the trailer reveal the name of the main character.
Since Ajith featured a gray-shaded character in Mankatha (2011) as well, and since both movies have a connection to Bangkok, there are also rumors that Ajith may have been named after his character ACP Vinayak Mahadev.
Arjun Sarja, who portrayed Ajith’s sidekick in Mankatha, was additionally observed at the Tegimpu set last year, which fueled these rumors even further. On January 12, 2023, Tegimpu is anticipated to premiere in theaters during Sankranthi.
Ajit K is portraying himself as a stylish robber who plans to loot a bank. The first scene of the trilogy features Bina and a disguised Vita Kantha Fire entering a bank.
