The lawyer representing late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s family, Vikas Singh, said that the AIIMS doctor who told that Sushant died of suicide earlier this week is not reciveing call.
Dr. Sudhir Gupta has told the Central Bureou of Investigation, CBI, that despite various allegations and theories, reports have indicated towards suicide. An audio clip has surfaced on various channels where Sudhir Gupta can be heard saying that there is a possibility of it being a murder. Singh thinks that after this, the AIIMS doctor may change his mind again.
Gupta has recently asserted that the information and knowledge he has now, he did not have a few weeks ago and with the present situation, he can say that it was indeed a suicide.
“Yes, everyone doubted when the CBI started its investigation. We investigated all doubts and then came with this opinion. Now, there should be no doubts. It was a seven member team of doctors who came to this conclusion that SSR died by suicide,” he said in an interview.
While talking to the Times of India, Vikas Singh said that the AIIMS doctor is not receiving his calls. He added that he wanted to talk to him because he might change his statement later on so only when he takes his calls and talks to him is when he will go ahead with the case.
Rejecting the claims of the report made by the team of doctors at AIIMS, Singh said that when there is no body then how can the team give a conclusive report. How could the AIIMS team give a conclusive report in the absence of the body, that too on such a shoddy post mortem done by the Cooper hospital (in Mumbai) wherein the time of death is also not mentioned,” he tweeted.
Earlier, the team of doctors had ruled out poisoning and strangling and Dr. Gupta in an interview said that this is a death by suicide. This was not expected by the family members and the late actor’s sister tweeted on the U-turn that Sudhir Gupta has made saying that this should be investigated.
