Zee News CEO & Anchor ‘Sudhir Chaudhary’ Joins ‘Aaj Tak’

A few days ago, Sudhir Chaudhary, CEO and former editor-in-chief of Hindi news channel Zee News, left the channel.

There was talk that he would start his new channel but now he has joined India’s popular Hindi news channel ‘Aaj Tak’.
Sudhir Chaudhary, who did prime time show DNA in Zee News, resigned as CEO and Editor-in-Chief of Zee News after 10 years on 28 June.
A senior official of the India Today Group has confirmed the news of Sudhir Chaudhary joining Aaj Tak as per reports.

An internal mail has also been issued by Kali Puri, Vice Chairperson of ‘India Today’ group regarding the appointment of Sudhir Chaudhary. In this email, Kali Puri has written,
“I am very happy to inform all of you that Sudhir Chaudhary is going to join ‘Aaj Tak’ as Consulting Editor.
Sudhir and Aaj Tak are collaborating to bring an exciting new show anchored by him to our 100 million viewers. The show will be under the supervision of news director Supriya Prasad.”
As per many Zee News employees the official relationships between Subhash Chandra and Sudhir Chaudhary were not going well. Employees said that after the arrival of Rajneesh Ahuja, everything in the company gradually shifted from Sudhir to Rajneesh.
