Yudhra Box Office Collection Day 1: Film Opens With Rs 4.50 Crore
The good things that have the film are action and Siddhant. He has given a very power-packed performance. That has certainly helped the movie make a pretty good opening at the box office. It had some excellent co-actors too-including Malavika Mohanan and Raghav Juyal. Malavika as an action heroine and Raghav as a mean villain, ‘Shafiq’ turns out to be an embodied concept that takes time to get warm and has some mind-blowing face-offs with Siddhant.

Critical Reception: Action Over Drama
Whereas action choreography was sought within the appreciative eyes of the critics in Yudhra, emotional depth had somehow been sacrificed for a few. Siddhant Chaturvedi’s action scenes had been one of the entities that had worked in favor of the movie. While fight sequences, which comprised the majority of ‘Yudhra,’ might turn out to be a natural fit for him, it did make his lead character Yudhra, not seem out of place within intense hand-to-hand fighting scenes. His emotional performance could do with more work, though, where he could potentially help portray some depth to the feelings behind his character well.
Malavika Mohanan, as Nikhat, was well above average. Even though her chemistry with Siddhant was an underwhelming affair on screen, the action sequences were good, showing a versatile set of skills for an actress. Raghav Juyal played the antagonist in the form of Shafiq and gathered all praise for his performance, as was the case, particularly in an elaborative sequence where he confronts Yudhra. True to this prediction, it is some time before one really appreciates the fullness of his character but Raghav finally ensures that the impact lingers long enough while playing a powerful villain.
Actor Siddhant Chaturvedi, who emerged into the limelight after his first role in Gully Boy recently spoke about his journey so far to PTI. Talking about his way of challenging himself with every new project – the career as a whole – he said that the approach has always been to expand his boundaries in performing rather than taking up easier ones. He was a chartered accountant before he became an actor. He realized that he could not quit his job and act because it was part of him and necessary for his growth.

Siddhant is the kind of guy who has been committed to playing the toughest roles he has done in Yudhra. The actor’s choice to act and perform stunts on screen made him win over the hearts of the masses and even the critics, making him one of the most promising faces that Bollywood has to offer. His life, witnessing everything from being a chartered accountant to becoming one of the leading actors, shows that he was always energetic for this ambition and devoted to his craft. Also, the efforts of Yudhra reflect that urge.
