YouTube Launches New Tools For Creating YouTube ShortsYouTube Launches New Tools For Creating YouTube Shorts

YouTube, owned by Google, has launched new tools called “YouTube Shorts” for creating short, vertical videos.

These tools include a Collab tool, Q&A sticker, and more. YouTube Shorts are now being watched by over 2 billion logged-in users every month.

The Collab tool allows users to record a short video alongside other YouTube or Shorts videos in a split-screen format.

Users can easily join in by selecting “Remix” and then “Collab” to remix a particular Short or YouTube video.

YouTube is introducing new features for creators on its platform. They are rolling out Collab to all creators on iOS, with Android to follow.

The new Q&A sticker allows creators to ask their audience questions and get responses in the comments.

They are also testing a mobile-first vertical live experience, where live creators can be discovered in the Shorts feed. Viewers will see previews of vertical live videos mixed into the Shorts feed.

Additionally, YouTube is making it easier to create Shorts by automatically bundling the audio and effect from the Short being remixed.

They will also be testing recomposition tools to help users transform their horizontal videos into Shorts.

YouTube is introducing new features to enhance live streaming and inspire creators. They are testing a vertical live-streaming feature for mobile devices, making it easier for live streamers to be discovered within the YouTube Shorts feed.

This aims to help creators connect with new audiences and grow their communities.

Additionally, YouTube is implementing a feature that automatically packages audio and effects from a Short being remixed, making it easier for creators to build upon the work of others and focus on their own creative additions.

YouTube has added a new feature that allows users to save Shorts videos to playlists, making it easier for creators to organize and find inspiration from others’ work.

Additionally, YouTube will soon be testing editing tools that allow creators to transform their landscape videos into vertical Shorts by reframing, zooming, cropping, and splitting the content.
