World Government Summit 2024: Global Leaders To Gather In Dubai

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to make a significant two-day visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) starting Tuesday. 

During this trip, he will engage in comprehensive talks with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. 

A key highlight of his visit includes inaugurating the first Hindu temple ‘BAPS Hindu Mandir’ in Abu Dhabi. 

PM Modi is also scheduled to attend the World Government Summit in Dubai, where he will deliver a special keynote address.

World Government Summit In Dubai

The World Government Summit is a major event, set to occur from February 12 to 14 in Dubai. This summit is a global platform for discussing how to shape future governments. 

It brings together leaders and policymakers from around the world to share ideas and strategies for effective governance.

Aims of World Government Summit 2024

The World Government Summit 2024 aims to encourage discussions among governments, international organizations, thought leaders, and private sector leaders.

The goal is to improve international cooperation and provide governments with innovative tools and approaches to face modern challenges.

A Summit For Global Participation

This event will witness participation from over 25 world leaders, representatives from 140 governments, and 85 international organizations. 

Such widespread involvement highlights the summit’s significance as a global forum for discussing governmental policies and practices.

UAE President’s Long-Term Vision

UAE’s President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed has stressed the importance of the World Government Summit. He believes it plays a crucial role in promoting dialogue, sharing knowledge, and investing in new ideas. 

These efforts are vital for addressing development challenges and enhancing the quality of life for people globally.

UAE PM Emphasizes Role of Govt

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and ruler of Dubai, has emphasized the essential role of governments in bringing about positive change.

He highlights the responsibility of governments to implement effective strategies that can adapt to the evolving needs of their citizens.

‘Ahlan Modi’ Event In Dubai

Additionally, Modi’s visit includes attending the ‘Ahlan Modi‘ (Namaste Modi) event organized by Indian expats and inaugurating the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi. 

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan will also be participating in the World Government Summit, discussing his journey to fame. 

The participation of high-profile leaders and personalities underscores the event’s prominence in international dialogue and cultural exchange.
