The six-time winner Novak Djokovic defeated Italy’s Jannik Sinner on Tuesday in the Wimbledon quarterfinals after mounting a promising comeback after falling behind two sets to love.
The No. 1 seed from Serbia defeated Jannik Sinner on the center court with a score of 5-7 2-6 6-3 6-2 6-2 to advance to his 11th Wimbledon semi-final.
The 35-year-old has now gone 26 matches without losing at Wimbledon thanks to this victory.
Before mounting a remarkable comeback in the 3rd set to advance to the semifinals, Djokovic trailed by two sets.
He will now compete against British No. 9 seed Cameron Norrie, who also advanced to the semifinals of the men’s singles tournament.
