The beautiful and horrific queen of hearts is coming back again as ‘Chandramukhi 2’. You might be familiar with its first part Chandramukhi (2005).
The new trailer for the Tamil film ‘Chandramukhi 2’ has been released, and it promises a thrilling mix of supernatural horror, action, intrigue, and even comedy.
Directed by P. Vasu, the movie stars Kangana Ranaut as the hauntingly beautiful spirit of Chandramukhi and Raghava Lawrence as the Vettiyan Raja.
The story of ‘Chandramukhi 2’ weaves between the past and the present as a family moves into a palace. The palace is rumored to be haunted by the vengeful spirit of a medieval court dancer named Chandramukhi. Chandramukhi was once the favorite dancer of King Vettiyan before her death.
The story builds tension as it reveals Chandramukhi’s harmful intentions, eager to possess someone and draw blood. It offers a strong element of supernatural horror with psychological thrills. It is the sequel to Chandramukhi (2005), starring Jyothika, Nayanthara and Rajhinikant.
Tamil actor Vadivelu provides comic relief with quirky questions, adding humor to the narrative. Like the original film starring Rajinikanth, ‘Chandramukhi 2’ combines comedy with horror, action, and dance sequences while maintaining a sense of suspense.
The trailer transports us to the past, showcasing Chandramukhi’s court dance in Vettiyan Raja’s palace. Raghava Lawrence portrays both the modern-day Vettiyan and the historical king.
Aside from court dancing, the trailer teases Kangana Ranaut engaging in swordsmanship, hinting that her character is more than just a dancer. Thus we expect that Chandramukhi 2 will give us a captivating and thrilling cinematic experience.
‘Chandramukhi 2’ is set to hit theaters on September 28, 2023, offering an exciting blend of supernatural elements, action, comedy, and suspense to audiences.
