Will Jadeja be able to take CSK out of the losing loop?

Indian Premier League 2022 has brought its fair share of disappointment for the fans of Chennai Super Kings. Even though their favorite, MS Dhoni has kept them entertained with his knocks, constant losses have made it difficult for the team to bounce back in the same spirit.

At a time like this, a lot depends on Ravindra Jadeja. The all-rounder is serving his first year as the captain of the IPL franchise, a decision that was supported or moreover driven by MS Dhoni. Experts wish Jadeja to take some crucial calls as the captain and the amazing player he is.

Some may consider Jadeja to be placed at a difficult spot during his first ever stint as a captain but the highlight of all of it is that Dhoni is beside him to share the load. This is the first time that he became the captain. The pressure of the fans and the players is too much to handle but thanks to Dhoni, he might have someone to rely on.

In fact, Dhoni taking charge on the ground was pretty visible in their last game against Lucknow Super Giants. Not throughout the game but at least towards the end, Dhoni could be seen calling shots which was later on confirmed by jadeja too.

He said that because he was present at the deep-mid wicket, he could not communicate to the bowlers well, hence Dhoni took over for the brief period. Jadeja went on to say that what advice Dhoni gives, comes out of experience and hence they do not have to look anywhere else for such things. I have been preparing since (Dhoni) told me a few months ago. Mentally, I was ready to lead. I don’t have any pressure on me. I am just backing my instincts, going with whatever thoughts came to my mind,” Jadeja told reporters.
