As Dewald Brevis performed his unique carrom playing style on the cricket pitch, the immensely talented 18-year-old cricketer earned his nickname of ‘Baby AB.’

When the right-handed teenaged batting star made his IPL debut, he became the fifth-youngest foreign player to do so.
He revealed his warrior style in the over number nine thrown by leg-spinner Rahul Chahar.
The young teenager scored 29 runs in just one over, smashing a four and afterwards hitting the spinner for four straight sixes, making it Chahar’s costliest throw in the IPL.

Brevis was the first to launch a maximum over the long-on. He then proceeded down the track, hitting it wide long-on with the bowler for an even larger shot.
Brevis followed up with a 102-meter shot over wide mid-wicket to complete his hat-trick of sixes.
The young African batsman didn’t stop there, as he went on to hit the over’s fourth successive six.
The teenager’s final hit covered a range of 112 meters, making it the biggest six of the tournament.
Previous best was a 108-meter shot by Liam Livingstone off the batting of Chennai Super Kings pacer Mukesh Choudhary against the same team.
