Why are farmers continuing to spend nights outside Karnal mini secretariat?

On Wednesday, Farmers continued their protest outside the gates of the Karnal mini secretariat as they stayed firm on their demand over a police lathi charge on a gathering of farmers on August 28.
The farm protesters’ are unhappy with the transfer of IAS official Ayush Sinha, the former sub-divisional magistrate of Karnal. Farmers are demanding an inquiry on the matter and suspension of Sinha as he was caught on tape purportedly telling cops managing the farmers protest to “break their heads“.
The Chief Minister, Manohar Lal Khattar, also admitted that the selection of words by Ayush Sinha was inappropriate; however, he defended the police role.
