Welcome 3 To Release On Christmas 2024 As ‘Welcome To The Jungle’

The third installment of the popular Bollywood comedy franchise, “Welcome,” is in the works and has recently been officially announced.

The film has been titled as “Welcome to the Jungle.” The film will star well-known actors like Paresh Rawal, Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi & Akshay Kumar in pivotal roles.

This announcement comes after earlier reports indicated that Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor would not be part of the project.

Producer Firoz A Nadiadwala, who was behind the first two films in the series, has set Christmas 2024 as the release date for “Welcome to the Jungle.” Interestingly, the first film, “Welcome,” was also released on Christmas back in 2007.

The film is expected to start production next year, following Akshay Kumar’s completion of his other projects, “Jolly LLB 3” and “Housefull 5.”

Arshad Warsi, one of the confirmed cast members, expressed his excitement for the project. He shared that the scale of “Welcome to the Jungle” is larger-than-life story.

The film has an impressive budget and an extravagant climax. He mentioned that the film will also feature other prominent actors like Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, and Paresh Rawal.

The “Welcome” franchise has garnered a significant fan following due to its comedic and entertaining storyline. The first film, directed by Anees Bazmee, was a commercial success.

The first part had featured stars like Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Anil Kapoor, and Nana Patekar. The second installment, however, was met with disappointment at the box office despite its star-studded cast.

Some Welcome-franchise fans are eagerly awaiting for the third installment for their another dose of laughter and entertainment. But they will have to wait till Christmas of next year to be a part of the ‘Welcome to the Jungle.’
