Uunchai Trailer: Rajshri Production Is Back With A Heart-Touching Story

Sooraj Barjatya & Rajshri Production are known for their brilliant direction & heartwarming stories. This time they’ve come up with a friendship story of 4 old guys.

The long-awaited trailer for Rajshri Productions’ ambitious film Uunchai was released recently, and it lives up to the hype and expectation that have surrounded the project from the beginning. 

The movie’s trailer succeeds on its promise of notable performances from its illustrious star ensemble and includes a genre-surprise from director Sooraj Barjatya.

One of the most anticipated movies of 2022, Uunchai, features a legendary cast, an accomplished director, a renowned production company, and a narrative with friendship at its core. 

The trailer for the movie, which begins by revealing that Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, and Danny Denzongpa are close friends, is built around the phrase “Friendship Was Their Only Motivation.” 

The foursome is enjoying the time of their life while dancing to a song dedicated to Danny’s birthday. However, all soon changes when Danny dies.

Danny wants to recapture his boyhood with his buddies, and the trailer makes it clear that he wants to take them to the Everest Base Camp. 

After Danny passes away, Uunchai’s three friends Amitabh, Anupam, and Boman decide to go on the trek in honor of him.

The teaser emphasizes how demanding this arduous journey will be for these 65+ men. The trek leader played by Parineeti Chopra is seen describing the challenges ahead but is doubtful of the group’s chances of success. 

Neena Gupta, who portrays Boman Irani’s wife, gives her role elegance and grace. Sarika’s role is still unknown. 

The trailer ends with a touch of nostalgia as Rajshri’s timeless song ‘Yeh Jeevan Hai’ and Big B’s rendition of ‘Bhupen’s Favorite song’ reverberate in the background.

The feedback to Uunchai’s trailer has been enthusiastic and supportive. Rajshri’s most ambitious film to date is Uunchai.

With such a senior star cast and footage taken at elevations of over 17,000 feet, Uunchai’s graphics are deserving of praise. 

Uunchai, which will be in theaters on 11th November, 2022 (11.11.22), is directed by Sooraj R. Barjatya and produced by his own company, Rajshri Productions, in collaboration with Mahaveer Jain Films and Boundless Media.
