US Tips Off Mumbai Police About Lawrence Bishnoi’s Brother, Extradition Process Begins
The US authorities have reported to the Mumbai Police about the presence of Anmol Bishnoi, a 25-year-old brother of Lawrence Bishnoi. The Mumbai Police have started the extradition process through the special court especially in Anmol’s alleged connection with the house firing case of Salman Khan. Anmol, whose brother Lawrence is currently incarcerated, has been said to be leading most of the operations from undisclosed locations.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has put out a Rs 10 lakh reward for information that may help in the arrest of the accused named Anmol has been involved in 18 criminal cases. Most memorably, he is charged with helping create and supply arms and ammunition in the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala in 2022. Furthermore, he has been linked with the more recent attack on NCP leader and former MLA, Baba Siddique.
After the Mumbai police issued an RCN, US authorities informed them that Anmol was in their country, also. Although the current detention location is not confirmed, Mumbai Police have initiated this process through the Ministry of Home Affairs. The next moves for this case will be discussed with the US authorities by the Ministry of External Affairs.
