UAE-India: Strengthening the deep ties through wide range of Opportunities in Business

The bilateral ties between India and the UAE traces its route long back that has been sealed through cultural, historical, and a profound economic co-operation. This has deepened the ties and strategic partnership between the countries and made it an instance of cooperation in the Middle East and South Asia. The bilateral trading has made both the countries’ partnership stronger. And the UAE has become the third-largest trading partner of India.
“I see a lot of potential for entrepreneurs and business leaders in these two countries to work together to strengthen ties. UAE – A Pathway to Prosperity of Global Business
UAE’s free trade zones, benefits obtained through the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) are some of the significant factors that play a crucial role in delivering the opportunities and opening the gateway to access the Middle Eastern, African and European markets for the Indian businesses. The advanced ports and logistics networks are leveraged by the Indian companies to re-export goods to global markets. The exchange of cultural values has become stout with the UAE’s inclusive policies since, the population of Indian communities are predominant and estimated over 3.5 million. To foster the cultural ties the UAE government has committed themselves to build a Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi.

Energy is the major sector which contributes to the bilateral partnership between India and the UAE, this has encouraged the Indian companies to invest in UAE’s oil and gas exploration projects. The shared future vision of India and the UAE, led to the collaborations in renewable energy which includes green hydrogen, solar energy to achieve their climate goals. The Masdar’s Projects in India, the UAE’s investment in clean energy are some of the iconic initiatives by the UAE. Indian and the UAE collaborate in space exploration too, with the UAE working closely with ISRO on satellite technology and space missions.
The leaders of both nations such as Prime Minister Modi who visited the UAE and the UAE leaders visiting India have become frequent which reinforced their ties.
