The measure forms part of the directive issued by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who called for treating 1,000 wounded children and 1,000 cancer patients in UAE hospitals. To date, the country has evacuated 2,127 patients and their companions and delivered over 43,000 tonnes of urgent aid to the Palestinian people.

The UAE continuously enriches its humanitarian response in various channels. Medical evacuations, field hospitals, and direct aid are all channels of humanitarian response.
