The Indian duo of Narayana Konganapalle and Kuldeep Singh won the bronze medal in the World Rowing Cup 2, with a timing of just 7 minutes 33.35 seconds.
India finished third in Final A of the PR3 Men’s Coxless Pair event, earning them a bronze medal in the para-rowing disciplines at the 2022 World Rowing Cup 2 in Poznan, Poland.

In the competition conducted on Saturday in Poznan’s Lake Malta, Narayana Konganapalle with Kuldeep Singh of India took home the bronze medal with a time of 7 minutes, 33.35 seconds.
According to data published by the Rowing Federation of India, they came in third place behind the pairs from France, who completed in 6:52.08 and set a World Best time, and Ukraine, who finished in 7:29.20.
Jerome Hamelin & Laurent Cadot of France increased the record once again after achieving a new world record (7:07.6) in the test race on Friday.
The 6:52.08 mark is the first time this race over 2000 meters has been completed in under seven minutes.
Back in the pack, Andrii Syvykh & Dmytro of Ukraine edged off Narayana Konganapalli & Kuldeep Singh of India for third place with Italy following closely behind.
The Indian Men’s Eight (M8+) as well as Women’s Eight (W8+) have both qualified for the Final A races in the respective categories, which is another commendable achievement.
Both teams performed well enough to advance to the Final A in their respective quarterfinals and semifinals.
