Sydney Hotel Serves Unpleasant Food To Indian Cricket Team

The Indian cricket team players were staying at a hotel in Sydney where they were served just cold sandwiches instead of proper food, after practice.

The meal served to Team India after practice in Sydney was substandard, according to ANI, citing BCCI sources. 

The BCCI reports further stated that they were only handed sandwiches, and they also informed the ICC that the food served following the Sydney practice session was substandard and cold.

Notably, the International Cricket Council (ICC) will be in charge of catering the T20 World Cup in 2022. In contrast, the host association is responsible for providing food in bilateral series. 

After lunch, there won’t be any hot food served by the ICC. Though Team India was also invited to the practice session, they declined because the site was in Blacktown, a suburb of Sydney, which is around 45 minutes away from the team hotel where they are lodging.
