If a player has to get awards and recognition from the government after performing well, then he has to go through the federation or earlier through the Sports Authority of India, after which it would be investigated and the players would have to be rewarded. It would have taken about a year or two to get my dues.
We have made the process simpler and more transparent. In simple words, we have used technology for greater transparency and accountability and this will help the players to apply online and get their money in limited time.”
