Slack’s new audio and video tools will improve the work scenario

Slack has presented a few new tools pointed toward improving hybrid working so that organizations can utilize the digital-first method to work. Slack unveils a new audio tool called Slack Huddles and several other exciting new tools such as leaving a video message and an improved employee directory. 

Some things that most of the employees miss while working from home is to drop by a coworker’s desk, and say hi or catch up in the hallway for a five-minute casual conversation. These new tools seem to have been designed keeping in mind the changing nature of work.

Individuals who find typing text a task can easily utilize Slack Huddles, the new audio tool that allows users to make real-time conversations with a coworker on Slack instead of lengthy texting. Slack Huddles likewise offers workers a reprieve from being in front of the camera amid working from home.

Slack’s CEO Stewart Butterfield says as organizations keep on presenting more adaptable working models, they should also modify how they work. Huddles is one way towards that growth.

Slack has likewise been talking about a video messaging tool, it is practically similar to a video voicemail or an Instagram Story where you shoot a short video and post it.
