Bhai Dooj, also known as Yama Dwitiya, Bhau Beej, Bhatra Dwitiya, Bhai Dwitiya, and Bhathru Dwitiya, is now taking place. It respects the ties that bind siblings. There are various customs connected to the Bhai Dooj holiday. People take a bath, get dressed in new clothes, and rise early on this day. Prepare a thali for worship by include roli-sandalwood, flowers, akshat, vermilion, sweets, betel nut, and a diya during the shubh muhurat for tilak.
Then, arrange a mat in a square on the floor, build a square with rice and flour, and invite your brother to sit on it. Now, light the diya and dab your brother’s forehead with vermillion, sandalwood, and rice. Perform the aarti afterward and present him with paan, betel nuts, and flowers.
