Shivraj Singh Chauhan’s ‘Return’ Shocked Oppositions Amid Rumors
Congress leaders spread rumors through a fake video, targeting Shivraj Singh Chouhan. But now Chauhan is back for the upcoming assembly elections.
Shivraj Singh Chouhan has been given a ticket by the BJP to contest the upcoming Madhya Pradesh assembly elections.
This has come as a surprise to many, as there were rumors that Chouhan’s political career was over. But now his entry into the race for upcoming elections has been confirmed.
Recently, some Congress leaders shared a fake video from the TV show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, which has gone viral on social media.
In the fake video, host Amitabh Bachchan asks a contestant which Chief Minister is called the ‘Announcement Minister’ (Ghoshna Mantri) due to false promises.
The options given are Manohar Lal Khattar, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Yogi Adityanath, and Bhupendra Patel. The contestant chooses ‘Shivraj Singh Chouhan’ as the answer, which is correct as per the show.
However, later it was revealed that the video had been edited to target Chouhan. Fact-checkers and KBC organizers have confirmed that the video is edited and fake!
In the first list of candidates released by the BJP, three central ministers, seven MPs, and the national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya have been fielded for the assembly elections.
This decision by the party has shocked political pundits, as these leaders have a stature similar to Chouhan. It was believed that Chouhan would retire from the state politics.
Chouhan is known as the “crowd puller” and is the biggest leader in central India. Being the Chief Minister for 19 years, his popularity has consistently grown.

His simplicity and connection with the public make him enjoyable to listen to. However, some people find his speeches repetitive and boring, but most public enjoys them.
Shivraj Singh Chouhan has already initiated hundreds of schemes across the state. Thus it would send a very wrong message in this phase of politics if the party wouldn’t give him a ticket. He is the biggest star campaigner in the state’s assembly election.
Also, if he is not given a ticket, the public becomes worried about the continuity of his plans. Especially, the Ladli Behna Yojana, which is proving to be a ‘game-changer’ for the BJP.
The party has elevated senior leaders like Kailash Vijayvargiya and Gopal Bhargav in seats where the party had lost last time. This is likely to strengthen the region and gain assembly votes. Supporters hope Chouhan will become the state’s Chief Minister again.
