She Was Threatened, Scared & Murdered: Sonali Phogat’s Brother
BJP Leader Sonali Phogat’s family alleged her PA & colleague of murder. They gave consent for an autopsy. Her 15-years daughter said, “My mother deserves justice!”
Sonali Phogat, a BJP leader and actress, is suspected of being raped and killed by her personal assistant Sudhir Sangwan and his companion Sukhwinder, according to the family’s written police complaint.
Sonali was allegedly sexually assaulted by Sudhir Sangwan, his friend Sukhwinder, and his sister’s assistant after they added drugs to her meals, according to a report in Indian Express.
Sonali’s brother Rinku Dhaka claims in the complaint that Phogat told their brother-in-law Aman Punia on 22nd August that the food she had been served had been tainted with an intoxicant.
“She informed Punia that Sangwan and a buddy had broken into her Hisar home three years prior, and she promised to report the theft to the police when she returned on August 23.
She added that Sangwan had threatened to make the video of their rape go viral on social media, had given her food laced with an intoxicant, and had raped her” the complaint noted.
According to Rinku, a political plan was hatched against her sister and that sister was slain because of her money.
The complaint further claimed that Sudhir had retained Sonali’s mobile phones, property documents, ATM cards, and house keys while threatening to ruin her political and cinematic careers.

When the family first landed in Goa, according to Rinku, there was no shooting going on.
He claimed that as part of a broader conspiracy, Sudhir and his companion Sukhwinder murdered Sonali in order to take her property.
Informing Sonali’s family of her passing was Sudhir. After that, when his relatives called, Sudhir didn’t answer the phone. He had turned off the phones of both Sonali and himself.
The Goa Police are carrying out an appropriate investigation into the events surrounding Sonali Phogat’s death, according to Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant. The Goa DGP is monitoring this situation.
A police official had earlier stated that Phogat (42), the BJP leader from Haryana who had gained notoriety on Tik Tok, was “brought dead” at the St Anthony Hospital in Anjuna, North Goa, on Tuesday morning.
