Sakshi Murder Case: UP Police Arrests Sahil Khan Who Stabbed Minor
16-years old Sakshi was brutally murdered by a Muslim man Sahil Khan in Delhi’s Shahbad area. He said, “No regrets, she ignored me first!” UP Police have arrested him.
A brutal murder of a 16-year-old girl in Delhi has shocked the nation, with the incident being sensationalized by some media outlets as another case of “love Jihad.”
The accused, Sahil, a 20-year-old AC repairman, allegedly confessed to the crime, stating that he committed it in a fit of rage.
Sahil was arrested in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, and during his interrogation, he showed no remorse for his actions.
The victim and Sahil had reportedly been in a relationship for three years, but she had recently expressed her desire to break up.
The girl was on her way to a friend’s son’s birthday party when Sahil attacked her in broad daylight.
Disturbing CCTV footage captured Sahil repeatedly stabbing the girl and striking her with a stone, while bystanders walked past without intervening.
The police sources revealed that Sahil was enraged because the girl had been ignoring him, and he suspected her involvement with a former boyfriend.
It is also being investigated whether Sahil had changed his name to befriend the girl. The police are looking into the details to determine the motive behind the attack and the possibility of premeditation.
Some media outlets have sensationalized the case by introducing the angle of “love Jihad.” Sahil, despite being a Muslim, had a sacred cotton red thread roll (Kalawa) on his wrist, which has fueled the narrative of interfaith relationships being manipulated to convert Hindu individuals.
