‘RRR’ Wins Best International Film Award At 50th Saturn Awards

The legendary movie RRR by SS Rajamouli is based on the life of freedom fighters Alluri Sitarama Raju & Komaram Bheem, won Best International Film Award.
The legacy of SS Rajamouli’s RRR appears to be increasing, and the film has assumed a permanent position in the media.
The period drama recently received the Best International Film award at the 50th Saturn Awards. The Real-life based historical fiction film was nominated in several categories.
RRR already became an international success by submitting Oscar nominations in 14 categories. And the magnum opus’s latest triumph is yet another pearl in RRR’s crown, adding to the already heightened excitement of fans.
RRR received nominations for Best International Film, Best Action Adventure, and Best Director at the 50th Saturn Awards.
However the RRR Director Rajamouli was not present to accept the award. As a result, an AV was shown at the ceremony in which he stated his gratitude.
“I am overjoyed that our picture RRR has received the Saturn Award for Best International Film. We are overjoyed. This is my 2nd Saturn Award as well. The first one I received was for Baahubali: The Conclusion,” said the director.
The director explained that he could not attend the award ceremony since he was in Japan promoting RRR.
“I was unable to attend due to prior commitments linked to RRR promotions in Japan. I’d like to congratulate all of the other prize winners. I hope you’re having a good time, “He stated.
RRR is a historical fiction film starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR that is based on the lives of independence warriors Alluri Sitarama Raju with Komaram Bheem.
The film featured Ajay Devgn, Shreya Saran, Olivia Morris, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, and Alia Bhatt.
RRR’s music was composed by veteran musician MM Keeravani, while the film was directed by KK Senthil Kumar.
