Robert Vadra Asks People to Vote for Congress Party
Robert Vadra is the businessman husband of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, a leader of the Congress party. On Monday, he asked people to vote for the Congress party in the current big national elections. In a message on social media, Vadra said that the Congress party’s plans and ideas are excellent and fair. He urged people to vote for justice and change.
Congress Promises Good Things
In a video message, Vadra said that if Congress wins, they will ensure their promises become real actions. He said Congress will bring progress in every area. Vadra told people, “You will see a happy India and a better India” if Congress is voted in.
Vadra May Join Politics
Vadra has also hinted that he may join active politics soon himself. In an interview, he said he will “surely join active politics after some time.” He said he wants to serve the people of the country and work for them. He mentioned possibly becoming a member of the Rajya Sabha, which is the upper house of India’s parliament.

Fourth Phase of Big Elections
Vadra’s appeal for Congress came on the day of the fourth phase of the big Lok Sabha elections in India. On Monday, voting happened in 96 parliamentary constituencies across 9 states and 1 union territory. Big leaders like Asaduddin Owaisi, Akhilesh Yadav, and Giriraj Singh were candidates in this phase.
State Elections Too
Along with the national parliamentary elections, voting also happened for all 175 seats of the Andhra Pradesh state assembly and 28 seats of the Odisha state assembly. These state elections were held at the same time as the Lok Sabha polls.
