Road Safety World Series 2022: The Cricket Tournament For Awareness
Kanpur is going to host the Road Safety World Series 2022, which is a 7 matches cricket tournament to spread awareness about road safety.
Starting on September 10th, Kanpur will host the 2022 Road Safety World Series. Actually, games will be held at Kanpur’s GreenPark Stadium from 10-15 September.
The goal of all these games is to raise public awareness of the importance of driving safely.
On September 10, the India Legends under the direction of Sachin Tendulkar will play the South Africa Legends under the direction of Jonty Rhodes.
On September 14, 2022, India Legends will play their second game versus West Indies Legends.
The second season of the Road Safety World Series will take place in Kanpur, Raipur, Indore, and Dehradun from September 10 through October 1, 2022.
India Legends vs South Africa Legends
Notably, the first leg of the competition will take place in Kanpur and include seven matches.
On September 10, 2022, at Green Park Stadium, the Sachin Tendulkar-led India Legends will play the Jonty Rhodes-led South Africa Legends. The first doubleheader of the competition will take place on September 11, 2022.
When the afternoon encounter between the Bangladesh Legends, captained by Shahadat Hossain, and the West Indies Legends, captained by Brian Lara, takes place.
Team Legends of Different Countries
In addition to this, the second game of the day, which will be played in the evening, will feature the powerful Australian side, led by Shane Watson, taking on the Sri Lanka Legends, led by Tillakaratne Dilshan.

On September 12, 2022, the inaugural New Zealand Legends team, captained by Ross Taylor, will compete in the competition. South Africa Legends will be their opponent in that game.
The following day, on September 13, 2022, England Legends, coached by Ian Bell, would take on Sri Lanka Legends.
