The Income Tax Department celebrated 162nd ‘Income Tax Day’ on 24th July and awarded highest taxpayers. Rajinikanth & Akshay Kumar are one of them.
Income Tax Day: Many movie stars have taken the place of wealthy industrialists when it comes to submitting their taxes. 24th July is celebrated as the Income Tax Day.
On this occasion the Income Tax Department honored a number of movie stars, including Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar.

When it comes to filmmaking, Akshay Kumar is unmatched; 4 to 5 of his movies are released annually. In paying taxes, he has fallen behind a lot of famous people.
For the past five years, Akshay Kumar has consistently been the highest tax payer. The Income Tax Department has once again given him this accolade.
Income Tax Dept. Honored Rajinikanth
Actor Rajinikanth received recognition from the income tax office in Chennai for his intermittent tax payments.
Aishwarya Rajinikanth, Rajinikanth’s daughter, congratulated her father on the news on Instagram on Sunday. On Sunday, Chennai observed Income Tax Day.
The ceremony, which was presided over by Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, saw Aishwarya accept the honor on behalf of her father Rajinikanth.

Akshay Is The Highest Taxpayer For 5 Years
However, it’s been reported that Akshay Kumar is currently in the UK filming for his upcoming movie. The actor’s team got the respect of the Income Tax Department in his absence.
As per media reports, Akshay is currently the only actor with the most films under his belt. But sometimes he performs very badly because of his busy schedules like he ruined the ‘Prithviraj’ movie.
Akshay Kumar also makes a lot of money through commercials. He pays the most taxes of any Indian actor, without a doubt.
