Rajasthan Chief Minister To Expand Cabinet With New Ministers Today
Today in Rajasthan, a big event is happening in politics. The Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Bhajan Lal Sharma, who is from the BJP party, is going to add new ministers to his team.
This is called a cabinet expansion. It’s like when a company hires new managers. This is happening at 3:30 pm at a place called Raj Bhavan. The Governor of Rajasthan, Kalraj Mishra, will do the official ceremony.
About 18 to 20 people, who are MLAs (Members of Legislative Assembly), will become ministers. Their names haven’t been told yet. It’s a secret right now. But, it’s expected that there will be a mix of experienced people and new faces. Before this, Bhajan Lal Sharma went to Delhi to talk with the top leaders of BJP.
In the recent elections in Rajasthan, BJP won and got 115 seats out of 200. Bhajan Lal Sharma became the Chief Minister for the first time. Diya Kumari and Prem Chand Bairwa are his deputies, as the Deputy-Chief Ministers of Rajasthan. Vasudev Devnani became the Speaker of the Rajasthan Assembly, which is like the head of the assembly.
The new Rajasthan Assembly will start its work on January 19. There, the Governor will give a special speech.
This cabinet expansion is important for many reasons. It is being done carefully, thinking about different groups of people and regions in Rajasthan. This is important because there will be big elections for Lok Sabha, in a few months.
The team will have people from different communities and regions. Bhajan Lal Sharma, is the new Chief Minister of Rajasthan. The Deputy Chief Ministers represent the Rajput and Scheduled Caste communities.
