Punjab Files FIR To Save Face Over PM Security Lapse In Ferozepur

Punjab -Amidst the country going through a dramatic count on its economy status to overtake Japan, political parties are busy fighting it out amongst themselves. A recent visit by the BJP led government leader PM Narendra Modi to Punjab border has been marked by conspiracy.

Last week, when Mr. Modi was making a trip through Ferozepur, his convoy of high security cars were stuck on a flyover for over 20 minutes. Suspecting a border terrorism angle, BJP held Congress responsible for the lapse and the needle was pointed towards Punjab CM as well. Currently, Punjab Police has registered an FIR against 150 unidentified people in a case related to the blocking of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s convoy in Ferozepur.

The FIR has been registered against accused under Section 283 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) that states that whoever, by doing any act, or by omitting to take order with any property in his possession or under his charge, causes danger, obstruction or injury to any person in any public way or public line of navigation, shall be punished with a fine which may extend to Rs 200.
