Prime Minister Narendra Modi is launching “Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit 2024” and “Bima Sakhi Yojana”
A grand industrial event, “Rising Rajasthan Global Summit 2024” is taking place in the pink city, Jaipur, Rajasthan at the Jaipur Exhibition Covention Centre (JECC) on Monday. During this event, Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with many important dignitaries will attend this summit. PM Modi will inaugurate this Global Summit 2024 and address the gathering. It is reported that this event will takes place from December 9 to 11, 2024 with the theme of ‘Replete, Responsible, Ready’.
Highlights of the Events
- 12 Sectoral sessions which includes water security, sustainable mining, sustainable finance, inclusive tourism, agri-business innovations and women-led startups.
- Prominent industrialists will be attending this Global Summit
- The synergy between the Government and the eminent business leaders, including the Chairman of Reliance Industries, Vedanta Group, Mahindra Group, Aditya Birla Group, and Adani Ports and SEZ Ltd share their insights during a session which narrates the growth of Rajasthan.
- Over 32 countries, 16 partner countries, and 20 international organizations are participating this three day summit.
PM in Haryana
Around 2 pm, PM Modi will land Haryana where he launches “Bima Sakhi Yojana” of LIC (Life Insurance Corporation of India) which expresses the government’s commitment towards the women empowerment who ages from 18 to 70 and their financial inclusion. This scheme provides training for the women who are interested for three years with stipend. After the completion of the training they can become the LIC agents and the qualified Bima Sakhi candidates will be eligible to be promoted as the Development Officer roles in LIC. Following this, PM Modi lays foundation stone for the Main Campus of Maharana Pratap Horticultural University in Karnal.
