PM Narendra Modi Suggests ‘One Nation, One Uniform’ For Police

Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for ‘One Nation, One Uniform’ for the countrywide police department. The unified policy is very important for the nation.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi proposed the concept of “One Nation, One Uniform” for Indian police forces on Friday (October 28) during the first Chintan Shivir (brainstorming session) of state home ministers as well as top police commanders.

“One Nation, One Uniform is merely a notion for the police. I’m not attempting to force it upon you. Just think about it. It could occur in the next five, fifty, or one hundred years.

The PM said that he thought police should have the same appearance nationwide. “All the states should merely think it over,” he stated.

Police uniforms “should be identified universally across the country, just like a post box has a specific identification,” PM Modi remarked.

The Prime Minister Modi initiative “One Nation, One Uniform” is part of a larger effort to implement a consistent set of policies throughout the nation.

The “One Nation One Fertilizer” program was put into place, according to a statement made in August by the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers.

The “One Nation One Ration Card” program was launched by the Indian government in August 2019.

Additionally, Modi has advocated for “One Nation, One Election” and the use of a single voter list for all elections.

India’s Prime Minister stated, “There is one vital issue for our nation,” when promoting his new uniform design.

There are currently cards for “one nation, one ration,” “one nation, one mobility,” “one nation, one grid,” and “one nation, one sign language” in our country.

In the same manner, all states ought to consider a “one nation, one uniform” policy.
