PM Modi Trips Madhya Pradesh 34 Times Since 2013, 7th This Year
PM Modi has been making several trips to Madhya Pradesh. He called the state ‘Heart of Hindustan’. Is it due to upcoming assembly elections or something else?
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Bina in Madhya Pradesh for the 34th state trip on Thursday. This year alone, the prime minister has visited the state at least 6 times.
Modi has visited Madhya Pradesh 33 times since 2013, and during these visits, he has laid foundation stones for various development projects.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah, while releasing the BJP’s report card in Madhya Pradesh, highlighted the prime minister’s contributions to the state.
Is PM Modi Visiting MP For Upcoming Elections?
This visit comes as the state gears up for assembly elections, and the BJP is relying on Modi’s popularity and connection with the people of Madhya Pradesh.
During his visits, Modi has participated in events in major cities like Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, and Jabalpur, as well as smaller towns like Reeva, Ratlam, Mandsaur, and Khandwa.
He has even visited Chhindwara, which is the home turf of Kamal Nath, the chief ministerial face of the Congress.
In fact, the party has decided to solely focus on Modi’s face for the upcoming elections. State BJP leaders have praised Modi’s frequent visits to Madhya Pradesh, stating that he has gifted the state hundreds or thousands of crores each time.
What Did PM Modi Bring To Madhya Pradesh In 2023?
On August 12, he visited Sagar and laid the foundation stone for the Sant Ravidas temple. He also inaugurated road projects and rail projects.
On July 1, the PM went to Shahdol and inaugurated the National Sickle Cell Anaemia Elimination Mission. He also distributed Ayushman Bharat cards to tribals and interacted with self-help groups.
On June 27, PM Modi visited Bhopal and flagged off two new Vande Bharat trains.
On April 24, he went to Reeva and inaugurated the eGramSwaraj-GEM portal. He also distributed SVAMITVA cards to bring financial stability to rural residents. Additionally, he distributed keys to homes built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
On April 1, the PM had also launched the Bhopal-Delhi Vande Bharat from MP capital Jabalpur.

PM Modi To Launch ₹57,050 Crore Projects In Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for several crucial infrastructure projects in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh on September 14.
In Madhya Pradesh, Modi will lay the foundation stone for projects valued at over ₹50,700 crore, including a state-of-the-art petrochemical complex at the Bina refinery, costing ₹49,000 crore, which will be vital for various industries.
Additionally, there are 10 industrial projects, like power and renewable energy zones, IT parks, and industrial areas, totaling ₹310 crore.
In Chhattisgarh, the Prime Minister will dedicate rail sector projects worth ₹6,350 crore. These include the Chhattisgarh East Rail Project Phase-I, which involves a third rail line and the MGR system connecting coal mines to the NTPC Lara Super Thermal Power Station.
He will also initiate the construction of 50-bed critical care blocks in 9 districts of Chhattisgarh under the Pradhan Mantri – Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission, with a total cost exceeding ₹210 crore.
