PM Modi Inaugurates Manohar Parrikar International Airport In Goa
Manohar Parrikar International Airport in Goa will connect Mopa with 8 major Indian cities – Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Hyderabad & Chennai.
The second Goa international airport is now open and is set to begin operations on the 5th of January, 2023.
This New Goa Airport or Manohar Parrikar International Airport located in Mopa is a great announcement as traveling to Goa is no longer an issue.
As of now, Goa has only one international airport. It is situated in Dabolim.
Dabolim International Airport Dabolim International Airport is one of the most crowded airports in India due to the amount of travelers who travel to Goa in any season.
The airport is part of an Indian Navy, and because of this, there are numerous rules that are in force. Private companies are not allowed to fly for more than four hours in the morning, for instance.
The airport is usually filled with people who are flying in or leaving. Particularly during peak times.
Travelers between and to Goa can relax because the Manohar Parrikar Airport International in Mopa will ease the burden of the above-mentioned issues.
It will link Mopa (Goa) to eight other major Indian cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Hyderabad, and Chennai. There will be regular connections from Mopa to Chennai from Mopa with the exception of Wednesdays.
